Today I only worked a half shift at work (1000-1600), the day was pretty uneventful, I only had 2 tables and like 3-4 bar tops.
First table was the group of Dentists/Doctors who meet monthly.
My relief was running late, so for like 10 minutes Brian was kept waiting for me outside which really pissed me off.
We got to Bishop Arts at a reasonable time and managed to get our meal/drink at Jaquval in a timely manner.
After a few pints we elected to go to the Wild Detectives in order to focus on writing.
I don’t know if I’m going to write anything new for Mad Swirl or not. I’m not particularly fond of the organizers there, they always relegate me to dead last so by the time I read most of the more erudite members of the event have already long since left.
