I have my Math TSI test scheduled for 20260908 @ 1400.
Once I take care of that, I should be able to immediately register for classes in the 2nd Autumn flex term.
The only other things I’m waiting on to be resolved wrt school are:
The merging of my two student ID numbers and academic histories
Hearing back from FAFSA / Financial Aid
After finding out that I couldn’t take the TSI for a while, I met up with Brian a little ahead of schedule at like 1400 or so. Then we left for the Wild Detectives to write some poetry and kill time until it was time for Mad Swirl
I wrote a new poem Dryad at the Wild Detectives. Inspired by one of the new hires at the Lounge Here who kept pestering me to write her a poem.
After Bobby showed up to rendezvous with us at WD we left for Las Tortugas for the Pollo Pesto; it’s just as good as I remembered.
After eating our pollo pestos we headed to Barbara’s Pavillion and we all had a drink while waiting on Johnny O and MH Clay to arrive, after they showed up we checked in with them to secure our spots, and then we went for another walk to kill time until the featured poet and Swerve did their things.
That walk took us to Emporium Pies where I got a cup of coffee and a slice of the Smooth Operator, the pie like the sandwich was just as good as I remembered.
After I finished my slice of pie Bobby gave us a ride back to Barbara’s Pavillion, but by the time we got there the feature was still in the middle of their set.
