Woke up feeling refreshed from all the whining I did the night prior
Showered in the morning because I was too exhausted to shower the night prior.
Went to work relatively on time rather than early like I normally do
I attached the tote bag that Brian got me for my bday to my backpack using a carabiner and put the cake he gave me in there, but the heat of the sun was so powerful that by the time I made it to work the icing had been almost completely melted, lol.
I still served myself a piece of cake regardless, was good.
Work was pretty chill. Jose got a big big top and I took all of the smaller tables other than them. We managed to get out at a decent time too, though we actually stayed late to watch the Mexico vs Korea game (World Cup).
I’ve really come to enjoy soccer/futbol lately. Something about watching the games and chilling with colleagues/peers is nice.
Got home at a decent time, gorged myself on ziti, took a shower again (I was drenched in sweat because it was so hot), then went to bed later than I intended to, but still at a somewhat decent time.
