Shitty start to the day because of Uber. I requested a ride at 0930 and then didn’t get a bite until after being extorted to upgrade to priority around 0945. Ride arrived around 0955 and I was late to work.
Went to LDU after arriving at work
My first table of the day was an 8-top that got upset at me and requested Sam to take them instead.
What had happened was: An old man arrived first ahead of the party and then gave me a hard time about how many people were coming in total, and being really picky about what tables he wanted. Then after the party arrived it was really difficult to get their drink order. After taking their drink order, and giving out the drinks + bread, I started taking their food order. One of the customers asked me “where do you want to start?” to which I replied “I guess we can start with you because you seem to be the most alert” and then the party leader immediately got angry and started asking for another waiter. He repeatedly asked Sam if he spoke English, and if he could take over, lol.
